Cerbero is a mythical monster in Greek mythology. It is commonly portrayed as a multi-headed dog watching over the gates of the underworld. According to some legends, Cancerbero possesses three heads, while in others it can have a maximum of nine separate heads. The term "cancerbero" is also used to refer to a watchful and unrelenting sentinel.
