Cancerbero is a mythical beast in Greek mythology. It is often depicted as a multi-headed canine protecting the gates of Hades. According to some legends, Cancerbero owns three heads, while in others it can have as many as nine heads. The word "cancerbero" is also used to refer to a watchful and unyielding guardian.
